Tonight we walked out to the barn for our nightly chore routine and we found a brand new female Nigerian Dwarf kid! Immediately, we began preparing for the evening cold by making a sweater(as shown in picture) and building a warm corner with several bales of hay. We missed the birth by, approx. 2 hours, but the mother,”Caddy”, managed very well on her own!
