Registered miniature mediterranean donkey for sale from American Tails!

Name: “American Tails Timon”

Gender: Jack

Height: 33.5″

Color: Spotted

Sire: Sweetland Acres Jasper

Dam: Wagons West Clementine

Registry/ bloodline: “Timon’s” registry, on both parents sides, go back to the original mini
donkeys imported from Italy. He has also recently been microchipped.

“Timon” has had hands-on care here at ATsFarm since birth. Currently, we own both of his
parents. Often, his coat gets compliments of how sleek and smooth it is.

His conformation as well as his walk is excellent. Given his great build and conformation, owner may consider possibly teaching him to drive a cart.

His teeth appear to be great; without any nicks or incorrect biting.

He stands better than any mini donkey on the farm when getting his hooves trimmed and receives many compliments from the farrier.

On Memorial Day, May 31st, we had the very first mini donkey jack born here on the farm! His registered name is “American Tails Timon”.

We started watching our barn cam less intensely than usual throughout the night, as he was 2 weeks overdue; which caused us to miss the birth.

We found him at 6 a.m. , almost completely dried off- so he was at least an hour or 2 old.

His birth weight was 25 Lb. and his height was 25 in.

His personality is so much different than our jennets we’ve had born here. He is such a spitfire- and unlike the jennets who were always pushing to get on our laps, he seems to be quite distant.

Mother’s day counts for animals too! At times(as you will notice in the photos) mothers can have a relaxing time with their young. But other times, their young can get into a lot of mischief…..
Make sure you recognize your animal mothers today. Happy Mothers Day and enjoy the slideshow!

Today all the goats were pastured together- and the kids had a blast! Until today they have been skittish of each other, but now they are playing together like they’re family.

We will have at least to buck’s for sale soon- they will need to be bottle fed as they are not old enough to be weaned from milk. Pictures will be uploaded to the for sale page soon!
